Mahira Khan, the Pakistani actress who rose to fame with her roles in Raees and Humsafar, has tied the knot with her longtime beau Salim Karim, a wealthy businessman and the CEO of Simpaisa, a digital payment platform. The couple exchanged vows in a stunning destination wedding at Pearl Continental Hotel Bhurban in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, on October 1, 2023 

Only the bride and groom's closest friends and family members were present for the intimate wedding.


What mahira wore for the wedding 

Salim matched Mahira with his black sherwani and blue turban as she glowed in a pastel lehenga and lengthy veil. The groom broke down in tears and wiped them away as the bride walked down the aisle. He then removed her veil, kissing her on the forehead.


 

Mahira danced with her pals at the mehendi ceremony while dressed in a yellow outfit as part of the wedding celebrations. In addition, the pair cut a cake and took selfies with their visitors.

Mahira confirmed her relationship last year

Mahira Khan and Salim Karim have been dating for over two years. They first met at a friend's wedding in 2021 and hit it off instantly. They made their relationship public in 2022, when they attended an event together and Mahira called Salim "the love of her life". 

They also appeared on the cover of Hello! Pakistan magazine in June 2023, where they opened up about their love story and future plans.


First marriage 

Mahira is engaged to be married again. She was previously wed to TV director Ali Askari from 2007 till 2015. Azlan, their kid, is 13 years old and resides with Mahira. 

Salim has two kids from a prior marriage and is a divorcee as well.

Mahira Khan is one of the most popular and successful actresses in Pakistan. She has won several awards and accolades for her performances in films and TV shows. She made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Raees (2017), which was a blockbuster hit. She is also known for her hit series Humsafar (2011-2012) with Fawad Khan, which was widely appreciated across the border as well. 

She will be next seen with Fawad Khan again in Netflix's Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, an adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq's bestselling Urdu novel .
